About us
Our history
It started in a church: two Afghan brothers, aged 16 and 19, were fleeing persecution and facing deportation. Nina Arlet-Ziari, then a graduate student, moved into the church to support and care for both brothers. At the same time, she and communications graduate Tine Lautrup represented the brothers legally and fought for their right to stay in Denmark - and won.
After that, more and more unaccompanied asylum children turned to Nina and Tine for help, and in 2017, Vores Asylbørn (now FairFremtid) was officially founded.

About organization
FairFremtid is a non-profit organization that began in 2014. Since then, we have fought for asylum children's right to a fair legal process, as well as the right to thrive and develop on equal terms with all other children in Denmark.
We are a passionate group of people with many different backgrounds and education, all working together to help children seeking asylum in Denmark.
